Bayfield, Wisconsin, 46°48′N 90°49′W

Born on Lake Superior. Built for independent hospitality everywhere.

Cove Captain began with the challenges of running real hospitality and adventure businesses in Bayfield, Wisconsin, the gateway to the Apostle Islands.

Our founders, brothers Josh and Abe Clark, operate True North Sailing Charters and know first-hand what it takes to run sailing excursions, vacation rentals and glamping sites.

As those businesses grew, so did the juggling: one system for rentals, another for charters, spreadsheets for captains and cleaners, and guest emails sent by hand. So we began building a better way.

Not another marketplace. Not another complicated enterprise platform. A practical operating system for the businesses we understand and love.

We're moving our own businesses onto Cove Captain first. If a feature isn't good enough for our own guests on a busy July Saturday, it isn't ready for yours.

We believe the best hospitality businesses are independently owned, full of character, and connected to the places and communities that make them special. Our mission is to give those operators the tools to thrive.

Less managing. More adventuring.
